Monthly Talk – Making Sense of Popular Culture

Mon 14 Oct @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

by Guest Speaker, Dr Jack Fawbert

***NOTE CHANGE OF SPEAKER***

Unfortunately the speaker for our talk on Monday about ‘Positive Ageing’ has fallen ill and has had to withdraw. However, we are very fortunate to have one of our own u3a members, Dr Jack Fawbert, who has very kindly agreed to step in at short notice to give a talk entitled ‘Making Sense Of Popular Culture’.

Jack is a former lecturer at several higher education institutions including Anglia Ruskin University and De Montfort University, and has recently retired as a tutor at the Open University.

We are sure that Jack will give us a fascinating insight into what we understand as popular culture which will no doubt elicit many questions and discussions.
